About Us
Colleges United is a community based football club, originally founded in 1995 with 76 players, to cater for children from 5 to 18 years of age. The club has grown significantly and now caters for juniors, women and men of all ages. Our home ground is the Mt Crosby Sportsground on Allawah Road, Mt Crosby, in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
The club has now committed to a five year lease of the Mt Crosby Sportsground, and looks forward to developing the facilities further to assist the youth of the local area. The Colleges Little Athletics Centre and Mt Crosby Cricket Club also use the grounds during the summer months, and with a commitment from the Brisbane City Council to further develop the facilities for general use, the future for the Mt Crosby Sportsground should see some great improvements for both the club and the local community.
We are affiliated with Football Brisbane Incorporated (FBI), and follow the international soccer rules of FIFA (Federation of International Football Association). Girls and boys play in mixed teams, with equal time on the field for all players, regardless of skill level. There are no best and fairest awards with all children receiving a trophy on Presentation Day. There are no points tables until Under 11. The idea is to participate, have fun, get some exercise, improve skills and make some new friends.
Colleges United plays an important community role and at all times, encourages equal playing time for all children regardless of gender or ability. Our emphasis is on participation, fair play, skills enhancement and the personal enjoyment to be gained from playing a team sport.
Our Club encourages a lot of social activity and has the facilities for groups to use our ground for team and social events. Team photo day and trophy day are two annual events for all members and players to enjoy. As a non-profit volunteer organisation, we rely on the invaluable assistance of our parents to assist with the coaching and managing of teams, and the on-going maintenance of our facilities.

Socks and Shorts are available from the canteen on Saturday mornings from 8.00am. Please note that there is no Eftpos facility in the canteen - cash sales only.
U6 - U10's Wanted
We still have vacancies in the U6-U10 age groups for our 2013 teams as follows - 1 x U6, 2 x U7, 2 x U9, 3 x U10. Ring Jenine on 0409 565 345 to find out which teams have vacancies and to sign up.
Senior Women Wanted
