New Inflatable Goals for Colleges United

Posted on: 10th March 2012

Colleges United recently purchased 3 sets of inflatable goals which were partially subsidised by a grant from the "Positive or it's Pointless" campaign.  These goals will be used by schools competing at our grounds and for club training.  Colleges United has a long standing partnership with the Mount Crosby State School with many players competing for the school during the week and for our Club on the weekend.

The Positive or it's Pointless" campaign is being rolled our jointly by the Queensland Government and junior football codes played in SE Queensland to promote a positive culture in these sports.  Junior sport is one of the best environments for not only improving our children's health but also for teaching them a range of life skills.  Sport builds discipline, leadership, self esteem and confidence.  We are all role models for our children, so let's work together to  make junior sport positive every day.
