Rainy Days Procedure

Soccer is sport that can still be played in wet weather. Clubs want to protect their grounds from damage so if games are called off it is usually due to poor ground conditions, not because players or spectators will get wet. Some grounds will be open and some closed, let your Team Officials inform you if the game is on or not on.

Team Officials
Team Officials only must follow these steps to find out if games are still on if there is rainy weather about:

  1. Look to the Latest Information (home) page of the Colleges website for the latest info
  2. From 7:00am on game day call the FBI hotline of closed grounds on 38491104
  3. Inform parents - knowing how to send a Group SMS Text message is handy
  4. If still in doubt call our canteen on 32012558 after 7:30am

Parents
If you have not heard from your Team Officials by 7:30am call them to find out if the game is on or not on. Do not call the FBI rainy day number as this will congest the phone line.

Training
If training is cancelled it will be on the Latest Information (home) page of the Colleges website by 5:00pm.
