Pic - Moggill Chrystal Palace players and officials celebrate their Grand Final win with gold medals and trophies.

This years participants played with great spirit all day. The final contenders were Moggill Chrystal Palace and Western Spirit Foxes. The match was won 3 - 0 by Moggill Chrystal Palace. It was fantastic to see such determined kids playing it out right to the end and not giving up - well done to all players and also the parents from both age groups who displayed model behaviour all day - you are all welcome back to Colleges any time.

Superb skills were the order of day in the tightest under 9 competition we've seen in recent years. Any one of the final four teams could have won. From observations the finalists were determined by skillful goal keepers. The two teams in the final were the Western Spirit Sharks and Regents Park Strikers. The final score went to Regents Park Strikers 1 - 0. In the final few minutes the Sharks threw everything at the goal only to be thwarted by the Strikers defence time after time. A superb game to finish with.
