Colleges United was recently successful in obtaining a grant from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Recreation of $54,444 towards the cost of upgrading the flood lighting at our grounds. Colleges United will contribute approximately an additional $35,000 towards the total cost of the work.

Work has already commenced with the installation of three additional flood light poles. Two poles have been installed either side of the half way line on the main field and an additional pole has been installed next to the green shed behind the canteen.

Work on installing the new flood lights should commence within the next week.

On completion, we should have match quality lighting on the main field and significantly improved lighting on the Under 10 field behind the canteen and on the Small Sided Football oval.

Thanks must go to Adrian Wellington, club President, for his significant effort in securing the grant.
