2010 under 6 and 7 carnival
Minimize

On Sunday 18 July 2010 Colleges held its second ever non-competitive Fun Carnival, this time for the under 6 and 7 age groups. 23 teams braved the early cold and had a great day of soccer. Colleges United thanks all the mums and dads and Team Officials firstly for coming and secondly for bringing such great sportsmanship to the day.

With so many people to thank it is easy to miss some but here goes anyway:
·         to the volunteer referee's you were fantastic with the players and we thank you for your unending enthusiasm; Matt Berlin, Hayden Rumble, Daniel Godfrey, Lachlan and Jayden Scrivener, Matt McAndrew, Julian Wellington, Matt Owen, Zane Duffy and Lachlan Mortell
·         canteen workers wonderfully led by Christine Bailey – the ladies from our two women’s teams and Jenine Mortell and Carmel McAndrew and of course Catherine and Chelsea on the lolly table and Lee Scrivener and Daryl Rumble on coffee duty
·         Clayton Mortell, Adrian Wellington and John Tank on Ground Official duty
.     David Berlin for working tirelessly from sunrise and taking all the wonderful photos on this page

Damian Johnson, Colleges u6 Anteaters:
I would like to express my gratitude to all involved in the under 6 and under 7's carnival today, Sunday the 18th July. This was my eldest son's first 'carnival' and I know he had a wonderful time along with the other Colleges Under 6 'Anteaters'! Everything from the draw, games, referees, grounds, canteen made for a highly successful and enjoyable day. Adrian, please pass on my thanks to all your helpers for an enjoyable and successful Sunday.

Trevor Raymond, Northstar u7 Liverpool
Dear John. On behalf of North Star Liverpool U7, I would like to say a big thank you for a very well organized and well run carnival. Our kids had a great time and I will look forward to sharing some great photos and stories with other members of our club. Hopefully this will encourage further participation from our teams at any future carnivals you run.
I have attached a photo representing just how much fun we all had. This young lad has only scored a few times in his life and one of them just happened to be on Sunday, his joy was our joy with his celebrations and represents nicely just why we do what we do.
